Youth
Youth Group — for students from 5-8th grade meets every other Wednesday evening at 6 p.m., for dinner, followed by lively discussions and fun activities. The FAITHLENS program is used to kickstart important conversations on topics relevant to young peoples’ lives in today’s world.
High School Group — meets twice monthly at 6 p.m., on Sunday evenings for dinner. This program focuses on group activities and community service projects that relate to the practical expression of faith in meaningful and real-life ways.
Confirmation — High School only. This class is normally held every other year. It is for ninth grade and up, meets approximately twice a month for about seven months during the program year. The last two sessions have been held on Thursday evenings at the church from 7 to 8:30. Dinner is served. Students must have been or plan to be baptized and a commitment to regular participation is required. Led by clergy.
Acolyte Program — All Middle and High School students are invited to participate in St. Paul's Acolyte Program, serving in our Sunday worship services. Training and support are provided. A commitment to participate when scheduled or finding a sub is required.
Summer Mission Trips — Every two years, High School students are invited to be part of our youth mission to help build schools in the Episcopal Diocese of Costa Rica. The trip is usually eight days long and includes worship and recreation time. Led by clergy and lay leaders. Participation in fundraising events, beginning in the September before the trip, is required.
