"The Roaming Rector"
Christ is Risen, indeed! Alleluia.
Here in Riverside, the beauty of Spring is gently unfolding. We rejoice as our neighborhood fills with budding trees and blossoming flowers. People are walking, running and biking, filling the streets with a new socially distanced sense of community.
My near-daily wanderings around the neighborhood are made so much better when I meet up with parishioners on their own daily walks. It's always so much fun to catch up in person. In realizing how much joy we have in seeing each other, I wanted to offer a safe and regular chance to catch up. "The Roaming Rector" (that would be me!) would love to come by your lawn or driveway with my lawn chair for a socially distanced chat. Think of it as a coffee hour catch-up as we share stories of the week, book lists, binge-worthy shows and most importantly, dinner plans. I can bring my own coffee! And just think, no need to straighten the house or clean since we'd just be hanging outside.
Send me an email to let me know if you want to catch up on a Monday or Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting.) Until we can all gather safely at St. Paul's, I am hoping that as the "Roaming Rector" we can spend a little time together. I really do miss seeing you all.
Please know that I continue to pray for the people of St. Paul's every day.
With Easter joy,
