A Time to Fall into Grace
This Sunday at 5:00 p.m. we will be resuming our Summer Evening Worship which will take place each and every Sunday outside in our Memorial Garden. For the next several weeks I will be drawing our liturgies from various evening prayer rites from within the Anglican Communion.
This Sunday we will be worshiping with “Daily Prayer for All Seasons”, which is a truly wonderful resource the Episcopal Church published in 2014. Our theme for this week is “creation” and our prayers will be focused on “perseverance and renewal”.
I hope that you will find this worship opportunity to be something you can include in your week, and that it will serve as a grace-filled and peaceful spiritual practice before the work week begins. Please come as you are — whether it is off a boat, after the beach, or muddy from gardening.I’m encouraging all to bring a friend or two for this meditative evening worship. So come and worship God in the beauty of holiness surrounded by creation and community.
May God bless each of you!
