Adult Faith Formation

Adult Inquirers Class — introduces newcomers to the basics of Episcopal Church practices, traditions, and faith.
Confirmation Class — is led by the Rector and forms biannually to prepare youth and adults who desire the Rite of Confirmation.
Adult Bible Study Group — meets Tuesday mornings in the Waterman Library. All are welcome to join a thoughtful study of the scriptures and an occasional outing to such locations as The Met Cloisters, Yale Art Galleries, or the Cathedral of St. John the Divine.
Discovery Hour for Adults — meets Sunday mornings to explore topics relevant to faith, life, community, and the world. Childcare is available for parents who wish to attend.
Parish Get-Away Weekend — retreat takes place each autumn at Camp Washington in beautiful Lakeside, Conn., and provides many pleasurable opportunities for spiritual growth and renewal. There are fun and relaxing activities for families and folks of every age.
Advent Quiet Day — is offered annually as a way to enter the holiday season with an interior focus and an opportunity for calm reflection, prayer, and meditation.
Lent Madness — a fun, intergenerational program designed to teach about the lives of the saints. For each of the 40 days of Lent, folks cast their votes for their favorite saints, who are pitted against one another in a friendly competition to win the Holy Halo.
Lenten Study — joins with the Presiding Bishop and other Episcopalians worldwide for specially-themed readings and videos designed to strengthen our spiritual journey during the 40 days of Lent.
